Human skull reconstruction

Hi there,

This is an image I have done for work, it shows a human skull reconstruction based on CT data. Imported as STL data around 1.4 Million polygons.
Lit and rendered in my studio lighting setup using Maxwell Beta as usual.
Render time was around 8 hours on a Dual Xeon 3.2 it reached SP level 13.

First of all, the modeling adds so much to this image. But your rendering is truly amazing!! :shock: :shock:

You remind me of Lance Armstrong, just when you think there's no way he can get better, he does.

wow, so many positive replies!
human bone structure is far less translucent than shown in my image....but it is way cooler this way! :D
