I tried to simulate the Moon Tower designed by the very well known japanese architect Shin Takamatsu:

I haven't read the tekst but i don't think there's some good reason for that enormous disc....... Wacky japanese....

I think some buildings are better left un-rendered.

Man, that thing is hideous. "Stargate SG-1 Gone Wild!!"

Your rendering itself though is excellent.
