Trying to improve my skills in lighting. Here's one of the results. Critics, please!

Oh, and the paint was done with Glu3D.

I believe your missing just one light(emitter) ......that being the front fill light, which would give overall illumination to the principal chair. Highlights look fine and maybe just a just a little too much burn with the left side light. I know the effect you were going for, but try and bring back a little of the ground texture.

That's all, looks good, ..........nice work with the paint. I hate it when that happens. i3.

I also use Glu3D. I don't want to consider myself a traitor. I just bought the program that met my needs and pricepoint.

Did I read somewhere that the Glu Fellows used to be NL people? If so was it a bad situation?

pluMmet: just making fun here... use whatever you want...

I prefer Rael Flow...This is what I started using and it seems very good to me.. never tested Glue3d...

Fantastic image, I like it.

Ive tried the demo of both glu3d and realflow and both are incredibly unstable... glu lets me get most of the way to rendering but realflow either crashes on import or the particles fail to interact. :(

Hi Kiuri

Which software did you use? MAX or Maya and How did you manage the fluid Motion blur?

Thank you.

Hello ignacio,

I use MAX. For the motionblur, I just enabled it for the particle mesh, and also for camera. Shutterspeed was about 70 so I got enough motionblur visible. Was this a sufficient answer?
