Hey guys. Finally have finished this model. I've designed it 3 years ago and was never happy with the end result until now. This model does not exist in real life so it was hard for me to reference it to other bmw's. Anyways I desided to post here since its my first maxwell work. Im not too sure about the final quality of this render, still grany.
Thanks.

I want one!! Not a big fan of the convertible though. I think the modeling is fantastic...just add some salt and pepper and let the render cook some more.

I do not know your studio setup but I do not think that maxwell is so slow...

i got 2 emitters shining at the surfaces which is bounced back at the car to produce soft reflections, plus the outer layer of the car is dielectric, so thats why probably.

very cool design, but if I understand, you coated your car with a dielectric varnish...? jeez that's why the render time exploded.. I guess you better wait for the car paint shader...
cool work anyway...
