This was what started as a small little project on the weekend, but turned bigger when i ended up waiting for 62 hours for it to get to level 15! Im tired of waiting. Modeled in lightwave. Some neat image, and a little post.

Hey Jason,
I sense your frustration and agree...too long to wait. It's nice as an image test but you needn't wait 62 hrs for this. It does have that "Jason Lee" look though, and that I like!

Cheers,
Ron

I like this image. The scene looks great. No reflective materials bring out the lighting and make it interesting subtle unreal. Also I like the white railing. :)

perfect work!realy nice shading, very gentle. The railing material looks very good and solid.maybe you can use 2 different material on the ailing, one on the base and other for the rest.

It's beautiful.

The resolution is 522 x 706 -- did that reolution take so long? or was there a higher res version?

(I'm new to Maxwell)

Thanks a lot guys. Yes it was originally 1.5 times this size, but i ended up resizing to help reduce noise and retain some sharpness.
This same scene rendered with fprime only took 5 hours, and looks about the same. Heres the fprime version.
