Looks very great.
C&C: the bump of the ground and the tiling looks a little bit strong. Also I would kill the last color at the ground in the background. Do you have used emitters in the cross?

thanks for the comments so far

here's a photo of the real thing which I was using as a reference
The bump on the floor is indeed a bit strong and I should probably knock it down a bit. I was having trouble with the bump map on the walls showing up so I modeled the wall instead.I think in hindsite I did the joints too deep.
I'd like to tweak this a bit in ps and add some bloom but otherwise I'm pretty happy with it. Now onto the next Ando project

Please don't forget - do you have used emitters? A rendertime of 50 h is so looooong, maybe, it could be faster.
What do you think is the reason for the long rendertime? I have build a simple scene like yours, but only the room (all diffuse) with the cross (emitters) and after 4 hours in double size it is at SL13 and the noise looks good.

I tried it using phyisical sky and sun but it seemed so grainy so I used a plane as a sun with a emitter mat on it.
The reason it took so long is there are very few openings in the building. the window to the right side is adjacent to the diagonal wall so the light is predominently bounced. If I could have used a regular light I could have got it aimed correctly but it was a lot of guessing tring to use the sun.

Beautiful renders, but 51 hours...Mmmm i rendered this in 15 minutes.
Maybe not as realistic, but look good to me.

looking good...maybe to cut back on render times (if you're using the beta), try an put an mxi plane right behind the cross opening on the back wall (true you wont get the sunlight but it should speed things up). Maybe a low level flash behind the camera to help with samples. Nice mats floor looks cool
