Hello y'all !!


This is my first image post here ! And also my fisrt pro work with Maxwell !


Although i would like to take an special care on some details, we must agree that there is a market out there, and in the time it was given to me (12 days), i am sure to have done my (and my computer) best.

This image is part of an project of a "Beuty Center" here in São Paulo, Brazil.

It was published on last Sunday, 14 august, on the "O Estado de Sao Paulo", a major newspaper here in Brazil.





Render time:
Aprox. 30 hours (i made three "region render", 10hrs each, and than reconposed it on PS). Level 15 reached.

Original image size: 2200 X 1000 - Rescaled to 1700 X 700 and aplied noise filter for final, print image.

I wonder me to see the noise. Do you denoise the image here too? It looks so homogen fine. Do you applied the noise filter befor you rescale?

The published image, witch has 1700 X 700 pixel has a litle bit more noise than this smaller one.

After rendering the trhee parts, I use Photoshop CS2 to recompose it, color, contrast, you know some adjustments, and after rescaling i did aplyed the "Neat Image" noise filter. And than returned to photoshop and aply an sharpen filter, but careful with this one, you can bring some noise back by using it.

My experience with the denoiser is, it is better to denoise first and than downscale the image. So, I feel to keep details during the denoise. Why do you first rescale and than denoise?

I happen to dislike the use of denoise filters.

So i would let it be the last resource to be used. Sometimes, only the re-escaling do my job.

Also, i think that a litle bit of maxwell's noise is really great !! Of couse, at an acceptable level, it seems to add some grace to the scene.
