By "Old Master" I'm not referring to myself!!!
Modeled in Rhino. The only bump mapping is on the wall behind the picture, the rest of the details are all geometry. It ended up to be 4.5 million polys, which would explain the long render times (SL 8 in about 18 hours).
Rhinoll 0.6.1, Maxwell Beta 1.2.2.
Athlon 64 FX-55, 2.6 GHz, 1 Gig RAM. ATI FireGL V7100 256 Mb
As always, C&C welcome.

And here's the detail shot:

really nice, Rem is my fav....
a couple things... tha material U used on the picture is not good, plastic is what U need... I've seen a couple of originals from him... it is coated with a highly gloss varnish...
the modeling is really nice.. rhino rocks... I could not model that in LW...
... maybe some dirt a bit...
you're a master, but you're not old.... I hear you...
Last... REMOVE that cord for hanging... it does not exsist on a painting like that... pitch the entire painting a bit...

:: yes i agree... and would add a bit of texture to the canvas. paintings are not flat, they have a rough texture up close. otherwise very good::
