Questions?

Lamps and glasses are truly realistic! Fruits seem they are imitations :P
Cloths on the chairs need more manufacturing details like natural bulge.
IMHO, wooden columns are so boring and they seem so simple.
Maybe some dull metallic elements would fit nicely on them.
And wood as a decision on the floor under these wooden furniture is not good.
Try ceramic tiles, mosaic stone etc... maybe decorated with a carpet....
Overall, it's cool :D

Original rendered on 3100x2500, sampling level 15 reached. SSS diffuse for lamps(cylinder emiter inside).
Enviroment is skylight + BIG(10x5m)emiter + some boxes with diffuse material with texture to get reflections and secondary bounces.

Nice render. The wood needs a bit of work, hey maybe at some point we'll get a wood shader (i've read that NL will implement the ability for us to write custom shaders at some point)

Check out this wood model that will be presented at siggraph 2005, it would be nice if we could borrow their BDRF data etc.

Its a good scene. There are a few things that could make it better. The wood is too similar in color, try some darker reds, or somthing to add contrast. I dont really like the table, its too simple. A nice detailed table would keep your attention on this scene. Or maybe im just getting tired of modern furniture...
