Kitchen table

this is my latest work on 3DsMax7 i render this before on MentalRay and it was neat,, now on maxwell :)

alot of time render and still there are some grainy spots ....

17 hrs level 20

and this is on MentalRay 3.3 render time was 4 hrs 12 mins >>>

Wonderful image, I use mental ray myself and was wondering if you could post the mray image for comparison?

Looking good! i like that very subtle softshadow on the wall from the lamp, that's a nice one :) but i wouldn't wanna live in a house with green wallpaper like that hehe

the difference is of course most apparent in reflective objects... too bad about the noise... that just ruins the image. very odd noise pattern too.

I love the image...... both of them.

hey, try blending to two together!

Nice comparison! Interesting how much more color bounce (too much) is in the mental ray image. It looks looks flat compared to the M~R render - and someone turned the light off in the other room :wink:

If the M~R render didn't have the noise it would be a very nice image. Do you have reflective caustics turned on?
