Theres something weird about that golf ball though.. It seems it needs higher detail, because I can spot the triangles around the edges off the bumps.

Nice grass

buit Peter is correct, there's something weird going on with the polygons in the dents on the golfball.
Besides the polygonal issue, nice work!

Also there is some blades of grass sticking through the ball towards the bottom. Still very nice image though

seeing this now, i vote its the hair and fur modifier in Max, and there were a few stray blades
