Simple yet sweet and yummy cookies! :P
I like this rendering! it's simplicity is striking yet it looks like real cookies, makes me wanna reach into the monitor and chew on them.
Btw.. try to make one where you put the Maxwell logotype on them instead hehe ;)

I've been meaning to try this... I don't know much about MAX but Lightwave can freeze displaced geometry. I have used it for making landscape and the like. For something of this size (small model) it should be ok, in max render the displaced geometry to a new model, then maxwell it.. it would give you actual geometry to render... but the cookie would now be 100,000s of polys. :)

hehe.

Heh heh, a dry joke i know but it would fit to say you need texture baking to make your cookies yummy for realtime munching :P
Sorry i couldn't resist it hehe

The bump is a bit blurry, it's visible in the scanline render as well so it's not related to the beta blur thing. Did you use PS filters to create it?

Great glass material, and nice milk, the surface of the cookie on the top and bottom are the best parts..... keep it going man
