Hi, I've been running some tests with the new SSS options and although my tests are, at the moment, inconclusive I thought I'd post one of my images to whet your appetites:-



Unfortunately I'm plagued by black dots. They could be cause by illegal geometry as mentioned here http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3961 as the model is from Stanford hi-res scanning repository (http://graphics.stanford.edu/data/3Dscanrep/) and contains small holes.

I will post more images as I go...

Great render OZ, but I have found black dots even with the simplest of geometry, so dont worry, the model is most likely safe.

How about using a small spherical emitter inside the dragons head? The eyes maybe?
