Thank you taking a look at 'Hanging Out', an image inspired by the sheer excitement of watching washing dry. Unfortunately for this pair of 'wired' Poser figure they simply didn't watch carefully enough!

Image rendered using Maxwell Beta 1.02 and it got to sample level 15 in about 11 hours. No crashes along the way either!

Only physical sky, with sun, used to light the scene.

Figures have a standard Maxwell Metal applied and the rerst of the scene elements mapped and painted with Maxon's BodyPaint using a selection of textures from Dosch Design.

tonfarben: The rusty cylinders are usually called 'line posts' in the area I was raised in the UK.

x_site: Thank you - the Cinema plugin quality is now getting closer to the things I wish to render with Maxwell.

tom: No SSS here! - I did try it in a test render but the 'washing' was overbright (and lots of pink dots!) no matter what settings I used. Maybe they look bright because of the saturated colours in the gradient. I was pleased no visible colour banding occurred. Maxwell Render is improving nicely.

Well heh.. good usage of cloth simulation in this scene, and also Poser figures :) but what's up with the hippie coloring on the cloth...
Other than that, a well executed rendering.
