It is a full Maxwell render, the modo render is posted on the modo forums :)

There are a few differences in materials and tone mapping etc.. that make a purely technical comparison of the two renders impractical really. It would take a lot of time to get them to match closely enough for any comparison to be worthwhile.

Thanks. I opened the 2 images in a browser tab and the difference is visible but not big.
I like the modo version.

very fascinating illustration and narrative, and brilliantly rendered. love it. I must say I liker the modo version better though, it seems to have more depth if compared to this one.

Excellent
