beautiful images!
It's really great to see quality architectural visualizations being created with Maxwell.

Can you give us a little insight into your workflow? Are you modelling in 3d max and
rendering with the plugin? How are you handling the entourage, vegetation and environmental
photography?

soarchitect thanks for the kind words. All of my modeling is done using Modo and rendering done via the plug in. All the entourage in the SOM building was created by me and textured by me. The trees are Onyx tree. As far as the chapel environment it was a photograph from a trip to a local state park. Hope this helps, and feel free to ask anything else! Gadzooks

I must say that I really love modo! It's cad modeling abilities are getting MUCH better with a all new snapping system. The Maxwell plug-in is getting better as well, as Luxology is opening up more of their SDK to developers. Not near as as good as the plug-in for say Max or Maya but it will get their. What do you guys use for CAD and or BIM?

We use Microstation for Cad & BIM. Next limit just released a plugin for Microstation, so we are able to export directly into Maxwell.
The main problem is that Microstation's tools for mapping materials is pretty limited.

Ironically, Microstation has just adopted Luxology's rendering engine. It is not fully integrated yet, but it is getting there. We can export
to Modo from Microstation. We are considering adding Modo to our workflow to take advantage of Modo's mapping capabilities. However,
this scenario has not been tested yet.

BTW, the new images look great!
