Really fantastic :) Could you tell when animation support with Felix will be available?

Cheers,

Chris

those look nice. i'd like to see a credit cost association with them once the system is ready for the public.

one of the biggest things that turned me off from felix was that .mxs scenes imported into felix lost all material and mapping settings.

what would be really nice is if felix would import .mxs scenes as they are without the user having to recreate materials/etc..... for me, this would make felix a more valuable solution while hugging more comfortably with an in house maxwell pipeline.

edit: the other thing that was bothersome was the user navigation controls..... in my opinion, if it's based off maxwell, it should have a maxwell studio/maya viewport navigation feel to it..... i felt like a chimp in a time capsule trying to get around the viewport in felix.....

Hi rusteberg,
Felix was not planned to have this kind of functionality which would give tons of troubles with FELIX's data structure.
However for non-Maxwell users FELIX solves almost every rendering issue.
About the camera... FELIX is designed for rendering newbies which are not yet used to other interfaces.
However that's all you have to know to move easily the camera in FELIX.

"Lmb" + MOUSE: moves the camera back and forth or from left to right (on the horizontal plane)
"Rmb" + MOUSE: moves the camera up and down (on the vertical plane)
R + “Lmb”: rotates the camera
O + “Lmb”: orbits the camera around a selected object in the scene
Y + “Lmb”: dollies in/out the camera
H aligns the camera to the horizon
D + “Lmb”: sets the camera focus on a particular object in the scene
F + “Lmb”: zooms in or out

thanks!
