hooo... it's my car!

Did you modeled the car or is from 3d02?
Not too much reflection?
If you put some brand bump map on the side of the tire, it will give more realism.

Good clear render anyway!

Really nice!!! Maybe some detail on the side of the tires and a little bit of dust dirt but other than that perfect as far as I can see :)... very nice

Nice model. Tires need more detail and a bit of dirt, as does the license plate. The interior texture on the passenger door looks a bit extreme.

Hello everybody.

Thanks for the comments, I uploaded a new one with texture and a bit of dirt on the tires, etc.
Reflections on the door does look weird, I think it's the geometry. The car model is from Behr Bros. they laser scan real cars, so they are quite accurate.

Best, Kim

Maybe You will not like my post, but what is Your work here? Rendering is work of Maxwellrender, modeling is work of Behr Bros, HDR backplate maybe? If Yes You have to post Your work on Photoshop forum.

Maybe Neeper have set all .mxm materials from scratch ? and it is not as easy as taking a photo, but if materials are from freelibrary so You have good point.

Is there anything wrong with showing renderings and compositing? No one else has ever shown something like this on the Maxwell forum, so I basically just did this to test out my skills in compositing and show what's possible with Maxwell and HDRI light..

Not that I couldn't have done this myself but modelling this car from scratch would take months, and it would give me nothing, a waste of time. However, there was some work in it, as glass has to be solids to look real, all windows and lights I had to do myself, same with the 12 air intakes, all grills I had to model myself.

I guess you, for what ever reason, question my skills in modeling? Take a look at this, it's all my designs and constructions, made from scratch: http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... =7&t=33643 Note that the first photo is a photo of the real thing. The speakers are sold all over the world, I create real things.

Why do you show your work, all the cars you use are some you just bought, so it pointless to show, right?

Best, Kim

sorry but...what about the idea?, choose and organize the necessary elements to match the idea?, Maxwell setup (materials, ilumination, etc..)? Post work? ...a "render" by Neeper, because he's the one who has made the "render".
Lots of people here just post renders, they are not animators, they are not modelers ...they render and that's what is this forum about.

...great render Neeper :D

Painting is the work of the brush, the canvas and the paint, right?

Awesome work there, Neeper

And BTW, I like that car a lot - lots of artists out there just can't make the compositing right. But this one is really good.
