Nice models. I'd say the lighting and studio setup could be improved.

Spent way too much time trying to get the lighting just right...for some reason (mostly my impatience) it's just not
clicking on this...I'll come back to it.

I like them!

Did you use SSS? Because of the noise.

Thanks Tom & Tok_Tok-

A bit frustrated with these vase images...I used IBL for lighting with an additional 3 emitters for adding reflection . Material wasn't/isn't sss although it almost seems like it -- it's a ceramic material from mxm library - I actually used the same material on a coffee cup/saucer in another scene with much cleaner results which is kinda what I wanted with this.

I'm gonna go back and look at it again and try different lighting.

I wonder if it would ever clear up.. Also, would it give a very different result if you would use a simple white shiny material?

Btw the "Meissen Porcelain" from the MXM Gallery worked for me very well once.

Tok_Tok-

Thanks for the material suggestion...I didn't see that one, will give it a try. My recollection is that most of the images were
sl 19+, hence, some of the frustration.

Some second image I'm pretty satisfied with -- in particular the image where the vase reflection runs up against the vase -- it's
a bit more subtle.
