Looking good! Now it's time to rough up that asphalt with stains and skids in PS.

P.S. Are there any Porsche's in Guymon?

Thanks Brian,

Oh, all these cars belong to my client. Well, he has the Navigator anyway. I am sure the Porche and the Mustang are on his wish list. It is his showcase for now, in my renderings. :)

I have not attemped the used asphalt look yet. Not sure how to go about it. I need to find some methodolgy on it.

Do you have a good method? I'd like to fit that into my 1% completion to go. Maybe fix the flag colors too.

Aaron

Very nice, I like that greenish tone in the glass :D
I know the porsche are small car, but there is something wrong in the scales with the cars in general.
Keep posting.

Cheers
JC

I just use PS brushes, trial and error. Make sure you use a new layer for each new marking, then use the layer opacity to adjust to taste.

HI JC,

The cars are accurate scale models. They make look a bit off due the wide angle lens though.

I'll give it a shot Brian.

Thanks,

Aaron

I like your images, but I found they have a little "toonesque" look, like every color is very flat.
I hope you don't mind if I try a different "post" look (I know some areas are burn, too muck specular glow and the jpg compression :P ...a quick postwork)

iker,

what did you do to that image? It def gives it a better texture.

so simple, some quick adjustment layers and a couple of filters...

-less Saturation
-subtle Exposition changes
-color balance

after that a Lens distortion filter with a subtle chromatic aberration and vignetting
and a merged layer of all of the above, desaturated, blured and colored in white/yellow in linear light mode to simulate some specular glow.
You can also add some noise and sharpen the image a bit.

...it use to happen when you try to sharpen an already compressed low resolution jpg.

i little detail will surely improve the porsche in foreground: a real texture on rear lights, (shiny plastic look surfaced)

edit: and a rear plate
