360Precision - Maxwell Renders or Photos

Hi,

We've been using the Cinema4D plug-in for Maxwell for the past few years now. We often get surprised comments when people are shocked that some of the images are 3D renders and not photos :lol:

Even after all these years I'm still learning and improving the output but I think I'm finally happy with the quality.

I still can't get a bubble to show through the plastic material for the spirit level though. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

I have a hard time believing they are renders too! Very photo-like.

i don't think that flipping normals is needed. since maxwell works with absolute iors and those are supposed to be air bubbles, just scatter some sphere around and give them 1 as ior.

Those are some photographic looking renderings you got there Matt :shock: great work! btw, is it a cloudy sunset hdr i see reflecting in the black metal ?
