Exterior render

Here is a work i finished today, original size is 2780x3700 , 5 bounces, 12 Samples reached in 24 hours :( , next time i'll render the plants apart...

Are you using plastic material for the plants? I'm not sure if the noise is coming from the plants, most likely it's from the glass. How big in size is the whole scene compared to the view? If you keep the size as close as possible to what you see in the view, it renders quicker.

Really nice. Great to see some exteriors. 24hrs and the glass is still noisy, we really need some sort of solution for this :cry:

I'll re-render with the same settings with my new config (must wait 2 weeks)

Render time/Noise really comes from plants cause i made tests without them, and having better results in less time (with diffuse Mat)

Here is another cam, just deleted the car and plants :
original size 1539 x 2048
render time: 11 hours 33 minutes 41 seconds
sampling level reached: 14
XP2400+ 1,25GB DDR266

Hey, same as above, really nice results here! I think one of the real challenges to making convincing ext. arch. renderings is the bump / texturing - yours look great, and I personally think that a single tileable bump texture applied universally throughout a building object usually looks pretty bad.

Perhaps part of your success derives from the fact that you don't have large expanses of flat "stucco" material. Also, the presence of subtle plane changes @ the spandrels / columns brings out the feeling of space.

Good move in eliminating the plants - you can always post them in, since I don't think they're totally necessary to the lighting solution. Same for the car, since you're not up-close to the glass.

IMO the noise isn't a problem, and anyway the glass looks quite clean to me - that, as far as noise, I think is the main thing.
