Very nice! I'd suggest adding a very fine noise bump to pearls.

I'm not a big fan of the design, but nice renders. My crits would be that you should add some fine bump/ultra fine scratches to the metal in both images, polished gold is never absolutley perfect. the scratches should be almost imperceptable. The Pearls should also have some find bump irregularities, as again, pearls are never completely perfect, and I think you should work on the colours of your stones as they aren't the right colours for amethyst or ruby.
However, I am being harsh on you, it's very nice work indeed sir! Kudos!

Very nice work Alex. Materials and the red stone look super realistic! But tell me, how is the top stone set? Looks like it is only sitting on top of the material!
(Sorry for asking, since I am a platinum smith these kind of details pop to my eye immediately)

Thank you Jakadave,I know to be "more realistic"metal would need some fine scratch because nothing is perfet in real life, but it depend to our goal.If we want "ultra" realistic render or photo-realistic render. all professional photos and product shot are post worked to erase all these little and no beautifull scratch, to make product more perfect than in reality,to make dream people. so... but I agree with you , in my render metal are too "clean".thank you for your feed back
Thank you very bubbaloo, I really appreciate.
Q2 , thanks a lot. to answer to your question, the stone is "taken" between the two part of metal, which has the track of the stone too.I'am not a jewels expert, it was just a try, but maybe it's not enough. see the screenshot joined.
Thank you very much Tea bag.
Alex.

very nice pics and modeling ! congrats !
me personally.. i'd just place them a little differently so they don't seem floating as in the first image. or standing perfectly on the round side.
but that's about taste.

thanks hervé, ok j'échange une de ces bagues contre une de tes delicieuses tartes aux fraises, hummm je ne suis pas sure d'etre gagnant dans ce troc

...
Thanks Deadalvs, it's true they seem floating in the first pics, it's because the front of the ring are put on the pearls, but the back part touch the floor.
Thanks so much again
Alex
