...Ad campaign for company experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Here's some newly finished work. 100% modeling and render. Took attention to detail as far as I could
Physically correct method for meniscuses and liquid against glass was used.
Render Time
Yorkfield Q9450 Quad 2.66GHz: 250 hours
Paxville Dual 2.8 GHz x 2: 172 hours
Original resolution: 3500 x 3763
Let me know what you guys think!
Here's the raw render:

Oh ya, I forgot to explain it. API's are filled into these glass vials that some people in the field may be familar with. The idea was to illustrate the company's strategy in overcoming obstacles for drug approval that their clients have to face. The idea came when turning a vial upside down to shape the glass into chess pieces and filling them with the liquid drug product. The opponent's side contains cloudy "contaminants" (used anisotopy) and are labeled with some common obstacles.

That's a long render time!
But the render is completely clear and very realistic.
Any chance you can post a downloadable full res version?
I would love to see the details closer.

Pharma companies make me cringe, but this is stunning work. So crisp and aesthetic. Love the internal reflections of the board.

Just stunning! I thought first the hand was real and composited in the render.

really nice image! And very good details (I love espacially the double reflection on the board). And it's very clean. Which SL was it in the end?
The raw render looks better in my eyes, but the blueish color seems to underline the statement of the ad.

Thank you all for your comments! The client was very happy and amazed at the realism and vivid outcome. All thanks to Maxwell. Bubbaloo, what's a good hosting site to post the full image? I initially wanted to have it show up really large to begin with but looks like imageshack scaled down my images. As far as the render time, you can never render too long when you have water and glass, so I just let it go for as long as possible before deadline to get the smoothest results. The image still looks pretty crisp at full resolution too.
What I'd like to have done better were the labels (they're too perfect, intially started out with SSS but decided against the noise levels), the frosted portions of the checkered board (ended up using normal map w/o roughness as it resulted in the brightest result), and better geometry modeling for the sleeve's ruffled end.
