Great images! I like the lighting and materials a lot despite some small tiling on some woods (its hard to find good textures for wood, I know).

Thanks for looking. Yes I am still trying to learn Maxwell. My textures could use some work also. I got some of the wood textures from here..

I think they look great so far. You better duck or watch your head for that cieling going up the stairs though. What's with that being so low?

The ceiling cuts up at the 1st stair. The ceilings are 8ft on ground level. Not my design, I do not like the low ceilings also.

wow great image.. very sharp and very realistic..

My only comment is that those two pictures seems a bit stretched. The proportions don't seem correct some how. The doors are too wide, are you sure you are working on the correct aspect ratio on your monitor?

Very nice. The interior lights seem like they may be a bit strong for that much daylight (light on the ceilings etc.) but really solid work.

are you sure it isn't stretched?

No It is not stretched. I just have a really wide camera view. I added a wire view from above with no distortion.

I think these are really good archvis type renderings.

I wonder if there are hidden light sources, seems overall brighter than I would expect which is blowing out some of the shadows - in the first render the crown moulding looks to be below the ceiling and the chair legs at the bottom right don't quite appear to touch the carpet. If somehow you could get a bit more shadow to "anchor" things it would help.

That's pretty nit-picky of me, overall I think you've done a damn fine and thorough job of modelling and texturing the scene. :D

One other small thing: I feel a very strong urge to push some of the chairs and tables around. Just a tiny bit of x,y movement and rotation, right now they appear to be perfectly aligned, which always looks weird to me.

Very nice renders and a crowded setup!

Very nice renders indeed.

What is your lighting and camera set up for this?

I never get this clarity and richness to an image.

Good pictures. But this volume could really use an interior designer.

Thanks for taking the time for the replys. Light setup is nothing special, just over head lights and sun light coming in behind camera. I agree with the overall design could of been alot better. The space is a small hotel lobby sitting area and a breakfast room.
