Based on the
Apple Spoof, i present you the

Modeled in Modo (

2 mistakes (not in the model/render but in the concept):
1) There is no "Power on" led (glowing one)
2) There should be no "leaf" on the O letter.
That's not Mac-Style
Everything else - COOL!

Green power buttons are behind the times anyway. This is the future.

No-no! These are blue leds and they are glowing like it breathes when you put your mac to sleep!

I think the whole thing should be blue with a glowing white power button.

Yes, I think that the Apple Cube was one of the most beautiful mass-produced computers that anyone has ever made - especially with all the matching peripherals. So sleek and sophisticated.
I've always thought about looking for one on e-bay, and moding it with a newer mini-itx motherboard.

yeah.. it was a rhetorical question.
I saw one at westworld, our local mac store. they wanted $400 Can. I came this close (holding fingers really close together) to buying it. Even though it really would be just a pretty decoration compared to what I currently run.
who wulda thunk. I drooled over that when it came out. I too think it's a BRILLIANT product. Of course. I love most of apples recent products. Using a macbook pro is like driving a mercedes after using my dell lapbrick.
