Very nice render, i like the mood. Is it sunlight coming in on the painting, even though its a nightsky?

A really cosy feel to it. I can almost hear Miles Davis!
It has more of a Jazz feeling to me. Opening shot of a move, Nicole Kidman strides in from the left in evening dress with a Cold Gin on the Rocks!
I think the Background image could sit a little nicer though. I don't know what it is about it, maybe the resolution is too small?

One of my favourite interior shots yet...
Three things that could bump it up from being really nice to near-perfection;
1. something about the base board... it looks like it is also concrete. I don't think you even need a base board, but if you choose to have one, I think wood would be better.
2. I agree about the light coming in... yeah it could be from the city lights, but it has a late afternoon quality to it.
3. Concrete walls, concrete ceiling... leaves me wondering where the electrical conduits are - especially the pots on the ceiling.
Obviously, these are all JMHO. I hope that my renderings will be this quality someday!
ps. where is the furniture from? did you model it or is it from a package?
