wire please!
this is really nice.. seriously.. wow
the only thing that gets to me is that the edges of the lighthouse are soo sharp.. but other than that..
Amazing mood and great render and post work.. wow what a different architectural render this is.. this should totally be printed and mounted on a wall as a glorious piece of art..
well done -bravo!

Very realistic! Only comment is that with such a cloudy sky u cannot have sharp shadows...

Fantastic, mood, modeling & render.
Only thing that's strange to me is the compression & grain in the photo sky. If you find a way to solve this I'd love to know.

That's a great piece of work, with some minor tweaking the other guys mentioned it would look real nice printed and framed on the livingroom wall.
Nice job!

I thought the lighthouse would be a good canidate for trying to fake an old photograph , so I gave it a go. It's pretty amateur .....but I tried.
I'm no Bert Monroy ....
Hope you don't mind Res_Com ---- ?

I think I can see Norman Bates through one of the windows; has he recently moved to a lighthouse?

Truely great image!
I also like th old photo image IVOX3!!! How did you do this, what filters are used?

It's simple .....
1 Dig around google for an old scratched up photo. Find an image that had a large sky or grey area (no objects) In this case, ..I found it here
http://www.ellada.com/old-athens.html using the key words 'old photo'.
2 Import to photo editor >Make a selection of that area
3 Grab the render and overlay the selection> transparency level to your liking.
4 Flatten
5 > turn to black & white
6 A whole lot of messing with diffuse glow(back off on intensity) > contrast > hue/saturation > sharpen till it looks decent.
...that's about it.
