I'm a little hesitant to post this now that I see keytoon has one of their new animations out. This was just for fun, I wanted to see what I could do with some new materials and the AXYZ characters, plus I really liked the music.

VERY NICE
Well done and I hardly noticed the concrete map. I was more focused on the dvd player and moving parts. The AXYZ "whatever its called" people work out very well up close, i'm definitely buying these now.
Keep it up Maxer, you're on a roll.

The guy's jersey's number is backwards...
oh... and my friend says the music should start when the DVD player closes...

Yes!!!! Really nice anim.
Just that concrete textures, it shows its pixels...
It is nice how you can spot a maxwell render/ animation even if you are not told it was made with maxwell.
How long did it took?? how many machines where involved?
Great work!!!!

You would think that would have been the first thing I thought of but it didn’t occur to me until later. By that time I had already rendered out several portions of the animation and didn’t want to have to redo all that I already had done.
The whole thing took a few weeks to setup and render, I did it on the side so I'm not exactly sure of the time but it took about 80 machines to get it done. The concrete texture did get a little pixilated; it's something I would change if I did it over again, same with the guy's jersey.

Must be nice to have access to that many machines at night.
Maybe you can recut the animation if you have Premiere or something simliar. Like some sound effects of the DVD player closing and then the music starting as the opening scene. You know, if you got time.
