Wow! Awesome renders, top one looks absolutely real, great lighting too. Both are good...

I too like the top one.. BUt what I like about the bottom one is HOW ABSTRAcT it is.. I love it.. cuz you can look at it and its a gental nice ssoothing curve and color..and not realize even that its a human back..so I like that about the bottom one..its soo artsy.. but the top wins for photoreal..
your renders always have a unqiue mood makes em very enjoyable/pleasing.

Both are really really fantastic, but if i have to choose one the first one seems better for me.

both look good, but I'd go for the second one. maybe with a tad stronger speculars.

Thanks guys for all your great comments! I'm torn myself as to which version I prefer. Like you guys, I like the first for it's photorealism, and as others mentioned, I like the second for it's "abstracticity" (oooooh.. I created a new word - Scrabble anyone? )
Sorry, no frontal nudity on this one - gotta be carefull of my hosting service - aka 'Big Brother.'
Anyway, here's another - different variation of the theme (same male model).....
Any suggestions for a title for this one? I'm running out of ideas...
