Hi Guys,

Here is my first contribution to the gallery. It is an old bar design of mine for a high-end apartment. Most of the vertical surfaces are mirrored and there are three shelves inside with a frosted glass top that is lit from below. All four edges of every mirror panel is mitered so you won't meet a sharp edge.

I know that I could bevel the edges of the marble top and the hanging glasses are not great...

I used the studio environment lighting in Maxwell Studio...can someone tell me why that one emitter is blue? I was just wondering. I obviously do not know much about photo studio lighting.

Comments are highly appreciated.

nice model~
Glasses are like being chrome or just too reflective, are you using a dielectric?. beware of the uv tiling on the dark marble part.

I hope you can see it now iker...

@Hys: thanks, I used AGS for the glasses which was not right...

Here is an update (top image) with a shot from in-between the glasses. I changed the material of them to [green glass by paperalessa] though they are out of focus.

the AGS should work too o_o but you should try more settings of transmittance, attenuation dist, Nd.
For my glass materials, i use a bit roughness, like 1% and not too much reflectance to avoid the material to be too chromy.

yeah...this green glass material seems a bit too "robust" I'll try that idea, thanks Hys!
