It's just a test, but I felt it was "okay" enough to place it in the gallery

I'm still working on the textures, landscape, and roof tiles :D

I'd like to be able to make "okay" renders like that.
Just one thing...some palms are passing thru the roof !

If you take out that "so blue!" tile for the pool, everything else is much more than okay... Are you sure your clients deserve something better than this? I sometimes think that my clients would be very happy with half my effort. I know they are always happy with half my fee. :D

Well, on one side... they want half of my job (They rather an uglier view, and they want it to look like an skecth -- something like this =

On the other side they want the spanish tiles and all the good stuff :? So I still need to work on it more. I have insvested 7 hours in modeling, texturing + 2hours in meeting time (Most of it was in traveling time and checking the house) + 2 min in light/rendering setup (I love maxwell :D )

yes, there was an error.. the skecthup plugin creates sometimes some black triangles, so I did a very quick photoshop fix, so I could post it here :D

you definatly can divise it by 2

for the SSS of the palm, use 2 seconde layer weightmaped, green transmitance, no dispersion (1nm), no transmitance map, for subsurface : absorption : 0,8, scatering : 0,1

maybe it's just me but I see the bump on the pavement stones as it is inverted....
other than this it's very well done.
