I've been amazed at how well Maxwell~Render deals with jewellery and so decided to post some examples of work I've done recently. The ring are not my own design (one's by Niessing and the other by Tiffany&Co.) and so I can't take credit for them but the modelling, lighting and rendering are all me!
The intention here is to show the rings in different materials so that the designer / manufacturer doesn't have to make all the versions of the actual rings (which could prove very expensive) but still give the customer an idea of what the rings would look like in the various materials.
