Gorgeous materials! The only thing that catches my eye is the composition itself. Maybe it needs some more space at the bottom? But anyway, it's a great render :D

Very nice indeed.
I would just increase roughness on your chrome material...it looks too much like a mirror. (just my opinion)

Hi Fred,

I almost don't dare to criticize your image, it really is fantastic! the way you modeled the leather looks very natural.
There is one thing that I see, the reflectance of the leather seems a bit gray, and there for gives it a bit of a metallic look.
The wooden parts could use just a little (more) bump.

Other than that I think we have a winner here ;)

To be honest, I did not model the object. I bought it and did the surfacing, lights, etc. Testing Maxwell.

I will make a new rendering one of these days, also the scale of the objects are much to big. Going to make it in realscale, my lights are now 200.000 watts. But as I said, just testing Maxwell!

It looks very CG to me. I suppose this image is post processed. If this is true, can I see the raw output? Thanks.

Hi Tom, sorry I can't find the raw output anymore. But you are right, I did some photoshop, adding copy of layer, more contrast, little blur etc. Only a small difference with the raw one.

I will make a new one soon and then I also will change the scale of these scene because the chair here is almost 3 km high ;-)

I have added a new one, had some week-end rendering time left, whole chair is jewel diamond material.
