Hi there,
Just another interior, nothing special. Modeling in 3ds max 8, rendered in MXW 1.1. This one cooked for 35 hours on a Dual Xeon 3.2 and was noise reduced afterwards in Neat image.
Image recreation from a magazine btw.
Regards,

Incredible. Perfect.
I've been sitting here just soaking up the atmosphere.
Two copies of "Katoman". It must be a good book.

Beautiful image.
Can you show us a wire version of your scene in perspective ?

damn, I knew someone would notice that.

But there are actually three copies of Katonah...can you find the third one hehe...?
Thanks for you comments anyway.
P.S. My next image which I have in mind already will feature lots and lots of books (hundreds actually) so this was just a test.

Looking good. The coffee table looks to be about 1/4" off the floor though. And the picture on the wall is kind of flat looking. Not the frame, that's nice modeling, just the textures and orientation.

Very pleasing image, again

, but the b/w conversion looks a bit flat. Did you try doing it with the channel mixer in PS? You can set precisely the influence of each RGB channel in the conversion.
