Sorry for my terrible French, Spanish, German and Italian.
It's a great image, especially the lower, out of focus part. Ok, that didn't sound right. I mean some objects don't look as good as the rest, like the coffeepot and apples. The appels do look like they have a bit of reflection but they look too saturated. Coffeepot has too much of a mirror finish. Take out anything that starts to look CG, because no matter how good the rest of the image is, it's going to be judged by the worse objects in the scene.
I'm not sure if it would help also to have a bluer light. The light seems yellowish, and most of the pic is also beige/yellowish, makes it look a little dreary.

A little noisy (as I'm sure you know). Great image though, especially the tiles. In addition to Mihai's comments about the apples and pot, I would add that the faucet material looks too white and too matte. That might be accurate for all I know, but the stainless faucets I've seen are all a bit darker, and usually with more obvious brushing. And the towels don't look very towelish. All of these things are very minor though, this is one of the best interiors I've seen for a while. I quite like the lighting. Great work.

Thanks for your valuable critism, it's very useful. I modelled that teapot in about 1:30secs..hmm...it shows...I'll make a few revisions and repost in a few days.

The stove is a made by Smeg. They use a really nice 10/18 stainless steel that has this white look, not as deep as the brushed ss that is more common. Still I take your point and have added a brushed texture to the ss. It's subtle but defineately looks better, so thanks for your comments.

Image was rendered and posted at 800 x 800 px. I like the square format sometimes, reminds of a 2 1/4 " Hassleblad.

Camera settings are nothing special. fstop was 5.6 I think, film speed probably 400, shutter maybe 25 or something, not sure. I wish Maxwell had a proper camera model (lens), the pin-hole model results in the unrealistic distortion on the right of the image.
It was rendered out of Lightwave (not Studio), I think i little more contrast would help.

That should be a sticky.

c + c welcome as always
