Hey Thomas,
You think I went beyond my old beta renderings? I believe 1.1 is far superior to beta in terms of speed, light distribution and noise clearance.
But believe me guys, it was VERY hard to pull this thing off, lets say Maxwell was not always in the "mood" to cooperate with me...

Just amazing! The first one and the porch daylight are my favorites. Could you describe a bit what you found most difficult, what problems did you have?
About the rendertime, do you mean 7 days for each image, or all of them?

7 day for ALL images, a lot of them are derivates from Multilight MXI's.
The daylight kitchen rendered for 21 hours and reached SP 17 with a benchmark of 27.24.

Well, as I am looking at your previous beta images here:
http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2086
The old ones when seen by themselves (with nothing to compare) looked awesome ... but looking at them now side by side, I can see the quality of the new kitchen has an edge (superior photorealism) to the old one. It is overal more convincing.
Yes, I agree with you ... I am also sold that v1.1 is the real deal.
Also, I agree with Mihai about the porch ... the daylight shot is very scenic.
I am holding back on the dining table scene. Something about it is slightly off ... maybe the napkin ? maybe the light fixtures ? ... can't tell.
The close-ups of the fireplace have ultra realism as well ... untill we look at the detail sculpted decoration (it looks paper-thin and gives it away)

as mentioned somewhere else, those pictures are unbelievable

especially the kitchen-ones!! i really like the close-ups!
and i have to agree, V1.1. is clearly lightyears ahead of V1.0 and seems to be even better than beta...
best regards, you really made my day withe these renders

Terrific patience in doing art. Beyond Maxwell, all points go to Benjamin this time! I was waiting for such warm usual setups rather than billions of 90 degree interiors with no dust and there it is.
