SL21, render time a bit more than 40 hours. Scale corrected. Settings the same as here: http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... hp?t=17451
Same material too, except for the diamonds (very light impurity added, doesn't really make any difference with this size of stone).

i am not very keen on juellery.... but must admit this ring is rendered in a superb outsatnding manner... i agree about the gray back ground ..

Henri,

I'm impressed, however i'd say there is a problem with the density of the saphire that looks too clear inside... maybe its because i've never seen a saphire which allows so much inside reflection..I'm not an expert, but beeing spoiling my wife with precious stones since so many years, i get used to watch stones ;) ( i should better get another PC for coop render)
