Lamp [Updated 9.7.6 V1.1]

Not meant to be a comparison with V.1 just getting use to 1.1
The scene is a little different to the first set up. both rendered for the same amount of time.
Over all I think that it feels alot more natural and has alot less noise
MXI lit version rendering right now will post results tomorrow

Very good materials.
The wire looks a little weird. Maybe it needs more mesh resolution.

If that's a floor lamp, the cord is enormous! Otherwise, really cool!

Shade Material
Place your alpha map into the Transmittance slot
Alter the UVW tile, lower value for course higher for a fine finish
which is what i used for this image.
I can't take the credit for the lamps base materials, but give a big thx to Voidmonster

one only layer with weight set to 50, ND set to 1,00 and lambertian...
well, that looks quite "heretic" hehehehe

@andretto: ND set to 1 seems quite orthodox to me since it is suppose to be a clipmap...
