What is that dark red area in front of closest finger?
There is some light coming out, but it makes floor look darker.

Try modeling a cylinder (I'm assuming the 'wires' are around 3mm diameter) around 2mm in diameter, and as long as you can fit in the finger 'cap'. Remove one end, and invert the normals of the other end, so they're pointing through the resulting tube. Then make the cap a high-powered emitter, and give the tube a pure black diffuse material. Depending on how long you can make the tube, you might need to reduce the diameter to get a focused beam.
