Hi,
a big REAL architectural project and one detailed building in front of Mecca.
CAD base imported in lw and fine modelling in LW 3D 8.5 (32 and 64 bit), rendering with maxwell 1.0 (over 1,5 milions of polygons processed without problems from lw maxwell plug-in).
All make in 2 days (day and night) each original resolution 2500x1800 on
some PCs AMD dual X2 4400+, win64, 4 gbyte ram.

Did you add the blur in post? Because otherwise it looks like your scale was off.

Thanks

Mihai and U.biq,
the depth of field is from maxwell,
for now REAL mean the is a project from reality (to building in next future)
but the aspect that the client want for now is "like a small model" :)

x_site i can understand your pont of view... but the project is from italian and arabian architects not mine!
I and my team make the 3D and previz (static and animated...) about it...

All the area around is in building and this part has final cost around 1 milion of euro for one meter of any building
because it's possible to see Mecca from any building...

When we make 3D architectural project no 1 ask us to give any judgment on the project... :D
as alway they ask quality in very small time... :(

Except for the scale issue, if it's a issue or if it's meant to look that way with the dof in some pics i don't know. But i gotta say i think they look good! :D nice way of showing off the models and clean smooth renderings.

Good job!

yes, i don't agree with the design, but...

I think the renderings are fantastic. Yes they look like models, but maybe that was the point. I find it quite interesting--esp the ones that look like white models on a real ground.

nice job.

wow I love the site plan view from way high up. VERY good. Is the topo correct and if so, how did you get it to match your site image so perfectly?

Details...

Thank you Maximus, Wither3d and Hyperballad and other guys for your kind words...

Hyperballad: a friend of mine (Massimo Campari) has started from the dwg 2D project and curves of terrain
to make the model and give us the rough model to start 3D details... but wait some days to see other...

We are working to this site with a lot of other details and point of view (and for an animated sequence of 3 minutes) ...
this is a complex team works and i want give a big thank to my brother Francesco (post processing and 2D works),
Francesca Sposato for the architectural connection, Massimiliano Forlani and Angelo Becattini for some detailed works...

The marble blocks of skycraper aremodelled and bevelled one by one! More then 1,5 milions of polygons processed
without problems in Maxwell Studio (good works NL team!) with rendering in 2500x1800, now we are detailing all
the buildings, add trees, cars and men... making some fine texturing...

sorry adl... i hope you don't take it personal.... i do not talk about the renders but the architecture [lack] of style. I guess that's why i would find hard to do viz for a living. I would have to reject alot of work and die without money :)

i appreciate your efforts.

Cool maquette renders!! Don't know if the scale issue was intentional, but the effect looks great!!

And the project sucks!! Not your fault!! You've done a great job!! :)

A BIG thank
