Not quite finished...

Since Max thought it should have been posted in the gallery and not the main forum
Testing M~R v1 with an old scene. The materials still need some tweaking and animating it with this version might be problem (maybe M~R v1.xx).

Well, some people have had luck animating (though some have not), and apparently moBlur works if the object is moving, but not moBlur that would be created by camera movement. So, at least it would look right...assuming you can stitch the frames together.
Very cool, though. I want one of those...they're supposed to be real nice.

PS - Did I just say Wip my ass?
did I just quote Wip my ass?
------
PS. ok, i've tried to figure out it too long with no success, so let me ask this very lame question: how the hell can i show in my post the name of the user i'm quoting from??? thanks...

If you press the quote button to the right of the post, the name will be included. Or just write (quote="andretto") to the opening quote tag. Change () to [].
Am I the only one that doesn't know what this render is showing? Some kind of speaker system?

Mihai, it's an exploded view of a Bose CD player. Either that, or R2D2's girlfriend.

yep, ....that's the now famous Bose ' Wave' Radio.
See those funny 'intenstinal' looking shapes in the middle ? , ....the sound travels thru that passage and creates what I believe to be the bass response.
The unit is famed for it's 'big sound'.
Maybe that's a simplification , .......but I think it's close.
btw: excellent render Greg.

I'm glad to see you finally posted it in the Gallery where it belongs Greg.

As i said before, the modeling is what really impresses me but i think the rendering in itself is outstanding too, so crisp clean and nicely lit.
Well done!
