Let me kno what you think! Both Rendered to around SL13 in about 12 hours on Apple G5. No Noise Reduction, just light Retouching.

This is probably going to sound...bad. But, the iPod looks like it could have been made in Illustrator. There's no perspective or setup at all. There's almost no depth, etc. It could be the best render in the world, but I can't tell.

The flat panel display suffers somewhat from the same thing. Just turn both items a little bit...give them a sense of place and space, and then post that. it looks like you have really good material settings for the iPod...but as I said, it's difficult to tell. There's only two colors (non-menu), and they're pretty solid.

That display render is great, just like Apple's ads. Did it need 12h of render time though?

Thanks Yea I was trying to go for the Apple Style Ads, there shot pretty much straight on 8) .

Mihai I dont know if it did I started it at night and checked it in the morning and it looked good. They were both rendered at 2500x2500 and had -ml on if that would make a big difference in rendering time.

Im going to try to make some other angle renders soon too :o

Pretty simple setups. I had plastic backdrop. for the Monitor. My key light is off to the left behind the camera. there is one light board facing down above the monitor, and I have a white skydome :)
