I did this while at work, I took one our clients house and maxwellize it!

I was also trying more clipmas and vue plants.

They are not the greatest, but I'm happy with this initial tests
(please let me know guys if you find anything decent  )

holly s*** the last one is not only a good render.. it is an awesome picutre.. A++!

Leonardo, did you notice the strange shaddow pattern from the clipmaps on the ground of the last picture? Could that be a bug?

lol... I've just read.. the last one was in Vue :o) that's why the shaddows and the light is off all over.. :o)

now.. that I know that the last one was in vue.. it is nice to see the quality of the clipmaps that Maxwell can produce.. the difference is quite striking

wow, nice work, I love the feel of these images. the grass and dirt textures could be improved, but you probably know that already

food for though (I bulet points :D )

1. I rember I had some problem with my vue rendering (The ground texture came out somewhat bad, so I photoshop parts of it, which i Think, you guys could be confusing as bad clipmaps)

2. The Maxwell renderings were faster. at 1200x900 they were fairly done in 2-3 hours while in vue it would have take me 8 hours.... Although I didn't use as many plants as I usually do for my maxwell rendering.
(I'm not an expert in either Vue or Maxwell, so I know that both programs can perform much better....

3. The house that I'm rendering (the pool area) is facing north. Therefore I couldn't show any dramatic shadows :x . I think with more dramatic shadows the render would have been better.

4. Textures  , yes I know I need to upgrade most of my textures at work. Please don't even look at the grass (I'm in a urget need for a good grass  )

5. It took me a while to come up with an enviroment that I liked in Vue, since then I save it and now I just hit render. So both renders are easy to setup! Now I need to find the sweet spot in Maxwell

Very nice LEo, where did you model this? and what time is it set the sun?

I like the 2nd night shot.

Vue is very nice too.

First, I exported each tree individualy
Second, I export them using .obj (obj doesn't allow me to save the alpha map... So I save it twice one as .obj and another one as C4D) and then I used the c4d maps.
