Hi all,
a little WIP.
I believe that the water is too clear, i'll change the attenuation distance and the concrete on the ground is too Bumpy, i'll change that for next rendering.
But any C&C on other points are welcome.
Ciao,

Hi Alex,
I like the design, as you say the water is a bit to clear, and it looks a bit overexposed
your water surface is really perfect, is it a bump (I think it is) in that case great bump texture!!
love to see your next

Hi Nico,
this is effectively a bump texture.
Only one BDSF layer
Reflectance 0&90° : white
Transmittance: blue
Attenuation distance: to be change
ND number: 1,33
Rougness: 1
Bump: image +3
Thans for the comments,

Alex,
imho, the water bump is great indeed, only it has the wrong size. the ripples you see here are seen on water outside deranged by a slight wind. inside pool water should have large, slow ripples (if no people in the pool). do a google for images with "pool hotel" for instance, and you will see what I mean.

Ok,
it's just a 2 hour rendering alaways the problem with the line in the pool, i have no time to change the projector.
I try to do better for tomorrow.

PS: is there caustics addicts?

misteralex, .....the line in the pool is an easy enough post fix.
I was interested in the first render (clear water) .....so that was just a plane? ....I don't believe it was a matter of just being too clear, but rather a lack of IOR based on the depth of the pool.
the last one looks good ......but at the same time, ...the water looks more like pond water.

....sorry, .....that just sounded funny. I mean it should be clear w/refraction .... yeah?
BRW: ....yes, ....nice caustics on the ceiling.
