Interesting lighting, it looks somewhat incomplete but since it's a Paper House Interior i guess that's the way it's supposed to be :o

Keep up the good work Patrik, hope you'll stay inspired and keep us so aswell.

Too bad Shigeru got banned, Tom really doesn't know his limits nowadays...
:wink:

The image map( texture) for the "marble" looks off to me. The liday light shot looks quiet cool but not the same with the night time one that looks a bit incomplete to me...

hi,
i think that the background forest image doesn't have the right balance of brightness... at least, to change this you don't have to wait 60 hours..
ok but since the house is surrounded by trees, i presume, i would expect some green color bleeding in this white space and trees shadows, which will also make the backround image more credible.

I love shigeru ban architecture, and your scene is pretty amazing! :D

I agree with the above post about green bleeding and maybe you should add some foliage shadow. you probably need to scatter some trees around your model to improve the image.

@-Adrian: shigeru BANNED... lol, funny :lol:

@aitrazz: nice new avatar, mate...

Nice. I enjoy his work very much also. I was lucky enough to see him give a presentation at the Minneapolis Walker art center. He was very entertaining, and a nice person with good intentions for his skills.

you have beautifull light coming in for the daylight pic, and materials are really well set up....tree background seems a bit off, but it's really nice work :D
