Looking good boilerhead! Let it cook some more.

Indeed, more cooking, and perhaps a bit of play with the shuttertime and burn. The main image could be brighter, but you don't want the over bright spots to be washed out.
Looks promising

more cooking...

hi boilerhead, glad to see that some of my freestuff of the frenchcinema4d adventcalendar made its way to the maxwell forum, my chairs need some touchup thougth

... if you want some more inspiration the scene was largely inspired by the ty nant café in osaka as seen in the book from daab edition ( japanese design ) a great source of inspiration
you'll find the scene page 114-115
cheers

Xlars, if you want i can let the file free once again, its in cinema4d format (.c4d)
and once compressed in .rar weight 3.42Mo with mat
i can send it on my ftp for a short period of time
this is the original render i did two years ago ( that was for christmas 2004)
and the test i did when i had the first grip on maxwell in january 2005
it surely needs lots of touchup thought
your c4d render looks nice

Would be very cool to see your scene, but unfortunately I dont think my 3ds max 8 imports .c4d formats (not quite sure how to make it into a fully textured max scene)...

xlars i could still export from c4d in a .3ds file format or an .obj or an .fbx one each of those fileformat should keep the mat , but it would jump to 35 meg easylly, my scene is not that interesting to transfert 35 megs other the net

You are right 35 mb is quite a lot to transfer, even though I think your scene, lighting and texturing is very interesting. Another time maybe, but thanks for the thought
