Just for fun I made this model of van hoy snaplock, which I have. Modeling approximatly 4 hours, maxwell to render 20 hours, sl 16.

modeled in maya and max, using polys. Took some time to setup studio lights and, I ended up placing one more or less sharp light to highlite those edges, but I think there is a flaw in my model, that is the edges are so sharp they dont pick up much highlites. Material is maxwell metal cobalt with roughness of 0.3/0.3 :D
Here is the real version of this knife. Note that there are many many versions of this knife so its not specific.
