So people visiting the gallery will know what version of Maxwell was responsible for creating the different images. Right now the way it is setup there is no differentiation between images created with the Alpha and images created with RC5. It's probably only useful information to those of us who have kept up with the progression of Maxwell, but it would allow for comparison between the engines if there are any discernable comparisons to be made.
