Thank you very much everyone for your comments and advises, and I'm very happy.

but I'm sad for my poor english so I couldn't toss around with you.
michaelplogue wrote:Wow Sandy! You keep out-doing yourself with each image!

Could you give some tips on how you modeled the water streaks on the windows? I've been trying to think of an easy way to do this, but haven't come up with a simple solution.
Michel, I modeled water streaks with spline. then make it renderable and sliced vertically.

Thanks, I also think it's overly blue. I'll try it with edited map in next scene.

dutch_designer wrote:Sandy, really nice, reminds me a lot about an image I had in mind myself a year or so ago (since I traveled a lot by train back then). It would be nice if you had a reflection of a figure in your window, perhaps the person who's eyes we're looking through? The train seems quite empty as well.
What about a night scene? Could be really interesting, lights outside, train lit inside..
Anyways, just some ideas...
About night scene, I'll try it when RC6 released
I have commuted by subway, the block of my scene is the only ground section and the last. Therefore emfty. :P

New rendering is great! But to tell the truth, I've never seen a subway car so clean! Must be straight from the factory.

If you want it to look really real, you need some vomit stains on the carpet and seats, chewing gum stuck to practically every surface, greasy handprints on the windows, cigarette butts and candy wrappers on the floor, empty beer cans, newspapers..... etc..

(Great work!)

Thank you so much mane162 and michael. :D

and michael, you're right. my subway scene is too clean because of my short texturing skill.

but the subway of our city is always clean. there's no cigarette butts, candy, cans, etc..

see above my photo in this thread. hehehehe :)

That must be very nice. I was stationed in Seoul back in 1987, but never got around the city very much - something I really regret. Unfortunatly I spent most of my time playing soldier out in the field. I lived on Yongsan, South Post. I remember our barracks were old metal buildings with no insulation. During the winters, we would wake up with frost on the inside of our walls. Brrrr! Someday I'd like to go back and really see the city. I do have some very fond memories of my short time there.

Did you serve in U.S. forces in Korea? Wow, it's really amazing. :o
